A Fundraiser for Maina's Home for Children, Nepal

Entry Fee: $10 per person or $15 for two, and
children under 12 free.
(all proceeds go towards Maina's Home for Children)

The evening's festivities include:

• Special Diwali Puja Ceremony by Wandering Yogi From India, Swami Maheshananda Saraswati.

• Exquisite dance performances by Kiruthika Rathanaswami who will be performing an invocation to Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god praised at the beginning of auspicious undertakings. Sujit Vadya will be performing a Mallari, showcasing the pure dance aspect of bharata natyam. Both choreography are by Jai Govinda, artistic director of Mandala Arts and Culture.

• Bindi Bar! Adorn your third eye with a sparkling bindi and face painting by renowned make-up artist Karen Armand from the Seattle Opera and Ballet, and enjoy a Mhendi Henna design by visionary Michelle Labelle.

• Rangoli Art Contest for adults and children, with great prizes.

• Amazing world music to move mind, body and spirit.

• Delicious spread of Diwali sweets and snacks by lantern-light.

• Incredible silent auction to benefit Maina's Home for Children
