A Fundraiser for Maina's Home for Children, Nepal

Heritage Hall, 3102 Main Street, Vancouver
7 pm until 11 pm
Entry Fee: $10 per person or $15 for two, and
children under 12 free.
(all proceeds go towards Maina's Home for Children)
The evening's festivities include:

Special Diwali Puja Ceremony by Wandering Yogi From India, Swami Maheshananda Saraswati.

Exquisite dance performances by Kiruthika Rathanaswami who will be performing an invocation to Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god praised at the beginning of auspicious undertakings. Sujit Vadya will be performing a Mallari, showcasing the pure dance aspect of bharata natyam. Both choreography are by Jai Govinda, artistic director of Mandala Arts and Culture.

Bindi Bar! Adorn your third eye with a sparkling bindi and face painting by renowned make-up artist Karen Armand from the Seattle Opera and Ballet, and enjoy a Mhendi Henna design by visionary Michelle Labelle.
